
Caramelized Brown Sugar Boba with Fresh Milk
The popular caramelized brown sugar drink is a delectable treat. The strong brown sugar flavor and creaminess of milk is perfect with the chewiness of freshly cooked boba.
Caramelized Brown Sugar Boba with Fresh Milk
Ingredients:
- 250g Large Tapioca Pearls
- 4 oz Caramelized Brown Sugar
- Hot water
- 500 mL Organic Fresh Milk
- Ice
Instructions for 2 Servings:
- Bring 3L or more of water to a boil
- Slowly stir in 250g of boba until boba floats to the top
- Boil boba for 30 minutes at medium to high heat
- Stir for 5 seconds every 5 minutes to avoid sticking
- Do not cover pot with lid
- After 30 minutes, turn off the heat, cover pot with lid and let sit for another 30 minutes
- Wash boba with 3L of water in a strainer
- In a pot, mix finished boba with 4oz of Caramelized Brown Sugar and 30 mL of water
- Cook on medium heat for 7 minutes
- Stir intermittently to avoid sticking
- Turn off heat and let sit for 10 minutes before serving
Now the Fun Part
- Put finished boba into 2 cups and add 250 mL of milk each
- Add ice and enjoy
